ABOUT SEWA MARG NGO

Sewa Marg is committed to creating meaningful change by supporting communities through initiatives focused on healthcare, education, livelihood, social welfare, and environmental responsibility.
Our work is driven by the belief that small, consistent efforts can create lasting impact. Over the years, we have undertaken a range of community-focused initiatives, including food and essential-item distribution, COVID-19 relief support, free health check-up camps, oxygen concentrator assistance, educational support, winter clothing drives, and migrant labour assistance.
We also focus on creating sustainable opportunities for communities. Our beekeeping training programme in Satauli, Nainital supported livelihood-oriented learning and encouraged sustainable income opportunities. Alongside this, community-led activities such as village plastic-cleaning initiatives promote environmental awareness and collective responsibility.
Through our initiatives, we aim to reach people who need support the most and contribute towards building healthier, more empowered, educated, and sustainable communities.

WHO WE ARE

Mr. Arun Prasad

Arun is an engineer from IIT Kanpur and holds a Masters degree in Operation research from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He has been very successfully running eSoft Technologies, a software company for the past few decades.He is a philanthropist who has been giving back to society in the form of sponsorships for needy children and donations for old age homes. He has participated in activities organised by various social entities like Sewa Marg

Mrs. Kiran Prasad

Kiran is an ICWA from Lucknow University and is now responsible for the financial operations of eSoft Technologies. She spends a lot of time attending charitable events and has always contributed substantial amounts to causes like education for children, old people who have been deserted and for the girl child

Mr. Shashank Bansal

Shashank is an engineer from BVM college, V.V Nagar, he has been in international business for the last 25 yrs. He is the MD of Best News Company that runs Samachar Plus news channels in U.P, Uttrakhand and Rajasthan. He was the Associate Vice President of BAI (Badminton Association of India)

Mrs. Pooja Bansal

Pooja is an Interior & Heritage Design Consultant by profession. She is an active member of Chinmaya Mission and is involved with its various activities at different levels.

Mamta is an educationist and a management professional. She has worked with NGOs like CRY, Salaam Baalak Trust, Latika Roy Foundation and organisations and schools like HTA, The British School Delhi and Welham Girls' School, Dehradun.
